CalcDetail — Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

CalcDetail ("we", "our", "the app") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used.

2. Information We Collect

CalcDetail does not require account registration and does not collect any personally identifiable information such as your name, phone number, or email address directly.

The calculations, notes, and pages you create inside the app are stored only on your own device (locally) and are never uploaded to any server or shared with us.

3. Images You Save or Share

When you choose to save or share a page, the app generates an image of that page and stores it in your device's Gallery/Pictures folder (Pictures/CalcDetail). This image stays on your device unless you choose to share it yourself using the Share option, which uses your device's own sharing tools (WhatsApp, Email, etc.). We do not have access to these images.

4. Currency Converter Feature

The Currency Converter feature connects to the internet to fetch current exchange rates from a third-party currency rate provider. Only the currency codes and amount you enter are sent as part of this request; no personal information is transmitted. We do not store your conversion history on any server.

5. Advertising

CalcDetail displays ads through Google AdMob (banner, interstitial, and app-open ads) to support free use of the app. Google's Mobile Ads SDK may collect and use device identifiers (such as the Advertising ID), general location (approximate), and app usage data to show relevant ads and measure ad performance. This data is handled according to Google's own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy

You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device's ad settings (Settings → Google → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalization" on most Android devices).

6. App Configuration (Firebase)

CalcDetail uses Firebase Remote Config, a Google service, solely to check whether a newer version of the app is available and to display an update notification. This does not involve any personal or identifiable data — only a generic app configuration check.

7. Permissions

The app may request storage-related permissions on older Android versions solely to save images of your pages to your device's Gallery. This permission is used only for that purpose.

8. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. The only data shared is the advertising-related device data described in Section 5, which goes to Google's AdMob network for ad delivery purposes — this is standard for any free, ad-supported app.

9. Children's Privacy

CalcDetail does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app is not directed at children, and no account or personal information is required to use it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
